Did I tell you I love the Technique Monday Challenges. Not that I can actually do them on the day they are posted....lol When you work full time-it happens. So I always keep them in the back of my mind. You can find the directions for this here-TLC362 ~Try THIS, or Try That ~ (01/30/12) by Toy at Splitcoaststampers
You have to take my word for how fun it was to create this. I just love the cottage cutz dies. I die cut these cute chicks and dry brushed black ink around the edges and filled in some feathers with a sharpie to give them character and personality. They come with "Peachy Keen" face stamps that you use to bring them to life. If you want to see some close ups of each individual chick you can check out my blog-http://chocolatecraftsandbearsohmy.blogspot.com/2012/03/scrapping-cottage-easter-cascade-card.html The two chicks in the front are happy, the chick with the umbrella appears to be singing in the rain, and the chick with the broom doesn't want to do housework! lol
I used the Daisy Doily in the back of the chicks that is also a Cottage Cutz die. The flourishes are just Recollection chipboard. The sentiment is from the $1 bin a Michael's. The flowers are the Hydrangea MS punch and the fence is the Halloween Sizzix one.
Thanks for visiting me today. I hope I have inspired you to try this Cascade card. I am going to do it again with another theme sometime in the future. I really like it as you get lots of dimension - but it folds flat for mailing! See you in the Gallery!

This is amazing. You have a real talent to bring together so many elements transforming them into a beautiful work of art. Love these cute little chicks and their cheerful Easter greeting!
