Shirley's card here helped me create this sympathy card. I loved the ribbon in the corner and the bold center image of Shirley's card. I used the new SU border die cut on the bottom edge of the card. The berries are heat embossed with cherry cobbler powder. I was trying to add some shading with my Copics, but discovered Copics and heat embossing aren't a good mix. I started to panic, but actually like the way it turned out. I was using a T1 - and it blended with the cherry cobbler embossing to create a nice cranberry-gray shading!

I am so loving this sweet card. I love the wreath and anything that could be considered primitive. I am just re-doing my laundry room with a primitive border. I cannot find accessories so I just may have to get this stamp and make my own. A really great case. Thanks so much for joining in making my day special.

Not such a blunder after all! Beautiful card and that's how we discover the most amazing things and all of those techniques in paper crafting is by "messing up." What a lovely card.
