OK, maybe this isn't styled for a manly-man, unless you count that it is for DS *and* his girlfriend. Loved this week's sketch and thought it would work for a Victorian Valentine.
I love what Biggan (Birgit) is doing with silk clay, but having none subbed in some Sculpey. Stamped the heart from Gentler Times into the worked clay, cut with a craft knife and dusted with gold & silver Pearl Ex. Ran a piece of Neenah natural white through the Lines & Dots EF that had been inked with Versamark. Dusted with gold Pearl Ex. Had a leftover labels eight cut from Websters Pages Vellum from a frame that I made yesterday and mounted that. Stamped the Sentiment from Flourishes Lacy Heart in Versamark and dusted that with more Pearl-Ex. Wrapped the ribbon and trim, then added the diagonal trim and stick pin. Mounted the baked heart, added the roses (colored with Pink Flamingo Pearl-Ex), a couple of layers and done. PT - 1
Thanks so much for looking and have a peaceful day.

Marie I love these hearts going on with this card. They intrigue me and I want to make some. I think it is so cool to make your own embellishments. The vintage appearance of this is extraordinary. Your son and his girlfriend will love this little number.
