Today's sketch is Roxie's last as our sketch challenge hostess and what a fun one - thanks again, Roxie, for your all your committment and inspiration! This is also my entry for November (yes, behind!) for the Bible Verse Challenge.
I flipped the sketch and decided it would be fun to stitch all those panels for a country quilt look, then added some buttons, lace, gingham ribbon and a rose for embellishments. This Verve Plain Jane is part of the stash from my November Get Your Diva On prize winnings, and I'm loving my new goodies! This is the first card I've made over the past four or five days, just decided I wanted to devote some time to relax and browse new galleries and comment instead of creating, and it's been great!

This card is definitely COUNTRY with all the checks and striped dp and lace. Beautiful work with the sewing machine Bridget and pretty flower and buttons!

Bridget, I knew this challenge would be no problem for you. You are a master of mixing colors and DPs. This is a terrific card with a country charm feeling. What lovely thoughts about Roxie too.
