I've had a really hectic schedule this week and today is the first day I've had a few minutes to play along in a challenge.
I decided to try using aluminum foil for my metal. I wasn't sure how it would come out but I was pleasantly surprised by the results. Looking at my finished results I wish I had gone with bigger butterflies (foilflies) so you could really see how awesome they turned out!
How I made the foilflies: I started with a piece of scrap cs and ran my tape runner across the entire piece. Then I took a piece of aluminum foil and layed it on top and smoothed it out. Then I used the sizzix Beautiful Wings embosslit to run it through the BS.
Image from Fabulous Florets was stamped in Craft White and then I used the black magic technique. Added my foilflies and a bow made with seam binding. Layered that on white then on black embossed with the Framed Tulips EF and layer that on the white base.
TFL!! Hope you like my creation and I look forward to reading your comments! Have a great Thursday!!

This is just stunning, really beautiful. I'm so glad you described how you created this and all that went into it. This is a great example of how fabulous Black Magic can be. I have never mastered it..... TFS.
