My 2nd CAS124 tall and thin card combined with this weeks CC328 challenge to use Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Night of Navy. This combo made me think of July 4th and our Grandson Antwan's 14th birthday the end of July. Because we give the kids money I made a pocket inside for money. You can see a little of the dotted scallop ribbon trim on the top edge of the pocket.
The Confetti Cream main CS was cut 6 1/4" X 8 1/2". I then scored at 3 1/4" and at 6 1/2". Folded the bottom up for the pocket and adhered with adhesive at each end. Then folded at 3 1/4" for the main card. I used the ink pads "directly to paper" using the same technique shown on SCS home page this week. Fun and easy. I inked Crumb Cake CS with Crumb Cake ink, then Night of Navy. Turned the CS and inked with Cherry Cobbler. I trimmed to the correct size, framed, stamped and embellished. The stars are hallogram stickers from my stamping friend Jilly.
I liked the results and it was quick and easy. Enjoy and thanks Jen and Betty for great challenges.
