Happy Sunday everyone. I am finally getting around to honoring our latest Queen - Vicki Dutcher was passed the crown last Friday. I absolutley love Vicki's beautiful works of art. Here is her lovely card that inspired me VSNMAY10MINIC - FLOWER
I used the same flowers from SU's Inspired by Nature set. used a similar layout. Changed up the colours, sentiment and ribbon placement.
I coloured the stamp using acrylic paints and stamped onto acrylic water colour paper. Next I stamped the script onto Vellum with stazon timber brown ink and overlayed the vellum ontop of the Flower panel. Dry embossed the brown card stock with polka dot folder. Cut out the frame with the spellbinder and cut out the nesty shape from the polkadot embossed panel. Layered the frame panel over the flower with pop dots. Made the ribbon and button embellishment. Stamped and cut out the sentiment with spellbinder, sponged edges and popped up.
This is going in the months Fan Club gallery - Text Me. Also in the Ways to use it challenges WT327 - A vision of vellum (use vellum) and the Ways to use it challenge - WT325 - dying for die cuts.
Enjoy your reign - Queen Vicki..
Hugs..Pat

Oh my word Pat! Your multi layered frame is so gorgeous with the stitching around the edges- the the texture is simply delish! (Every card you make is a fav of mine! Really!) Your bloom looks like a fine watercolor and the tag is so sweet! Aw....love every inch!!!! LYMI, hugs x2

This is so beautiful and I love how you placed the vellum layer behind the frame...that's always my issue with vellum...how to adhere it w/out the adhesive showing!!
