Anne Ryan was chosen by Trish to be our QFTD. Anne gave a year of making this a special challenge....honoring those who not only made wonderful cards, but took the time to particiapte in many challenges AND leave comments for fellow stampers. I chose to take THIS CARD of Anne's for my CASE. I changed her homespun themed card to a patriotic one. I made the sentiment prominent which was the challenge for F4A. I created a bg by off stamping so it wouldn't compete with the greeting.
Congratulations, Anne. A long-awaited honor. You SO deserve it!

You've certainly captured Anne's use of ribbon here. This made me think of the old airmail letter forms - they used to have a diagonal striped edging just like that.
