Fortunately, we have a few flutterbys that have offered to help! Meeting Sparkles Giltterwings... she has enlisted the aid of all number of flutterbys to help with re-routing the mint juleps to the tulips. Who knows we may even get to see the mint julep tulip tango or tulip-step.
My tulip is a soft creamy yellow, done with copics, and outlined with a glitter pen. I cut out all the images, and got a little lax with my craft knife, and accidentally chopped off, Sparkles antennae, so had to draw them back in. Whew, it was close, but she says they work almost as well as the originals! She brought her friend Teal O'Neal to provide backup when her wings give out or she drinks too many mint juleps!

Gorgeous!! Love the way you colored Leigh's sweet image and your sweet story. The Miraposa paper is sooo perfect for this. That paper stack is one of my favorites and it is lovely here.

That paper is a fabulous setting for Sparkles and your pretty tulip. I always think it's easier to deliberately cut the antennae off and either stamp or draw new ones, or use wire. Much easier than the fiddly cutting .
