I woke up with a card design in my head and totally started all over after seeing Joan's TLC challenge to make a "Punched Circle Edge" using a border punch. What a fabulous technique Joan. TFS Shelly Schmidt's tutorial for using a "Straight Punched Edge Around a Circle". I used my SU scallop trim border punch to use around my circle main image. I carried the theme by cutting a 4" x 4" square and using my Scallop Trim Corner punch at each corner and then my Scallop Trim Border punch between the corners to finish the square.
I used the SU 2 1/2" circle punch. I punched a piece of Pacific Point CS and a piece of the beautiful new SU "Beyond the Garden" DSP that glued together. Gave the piece more strength. I then followed Shelly's tutorial for the Scallop Trim circle edge. I LOVE the results. I stamped with Versamark the dimensional flower and leaves from the Fabulous Florets stamp set and attached with dimensionals. Added the sentiment and leaf and attached entire piece to the scallop trim edged Square and that to a 4 1/4" square piece of the DSP. All that was attached to a 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" piece of tent folded W While CS. I am really pleased with the results. Enjoy and do try the technique. It is really fun and just think of all the cool edges you can design :-)

So pretty, Nancy! I love the floral circle and added matching punched border. The addition of the dimensional leaf above the quote is a beautiful touch!

So lovely and beautiful, Nancy! I have that particular punch you used for your technique border---which looks perfect, by the way---but my punch doesn't seem to work very well (the paper hangs up inside of it and I can't get the punch to open back up). I love the fabulous designs you're making with this stamp set!
