I hope I'm not too late for the tea party! When this challenge came around, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. It just took me a while to do it, not because of the technique, but because I couldn't find the template for the teapot. Imagine that! In my nice, neat craft room where nothing is out of place! Yeah, right!
You ask where are the ribbons....Is it pushing the envelope a little bit by saying that the teapot is made out of "ribbons" of paper? Well, that's what it is. "Ribbons" of paper are cut to follow a template in the circular shape. The flowers are white silk flowers with gold beads and Diamond Stickles to make them sparkle. The leaves are an old Sizzix die that I haven't used in a long time. The corners are punched and the spout, lid and handle are cut from a pattern and pieced onto the card with Diamond Stickles around the edges. This is Iris Folding and if you have a pattern, it's really not difficult to do.
I will be sending Ashley some ribbons and things to help her out. I've been in the situation where my stickers and papers got ruined by water. It's not fun.
