This card is for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: sponging. It also fits this week's Speedy's Friends Challenge of paper piecing.
This card is pretty CAS...so I'm going to also list it on the CAS97 sketch challenge.
This card took VERY little time to make. The tricks? SPONGING and Paper Piecing! I stamped them image into the circle and colored in with Copics. I used a Copic Airbrush for the background and filled in a few spoged areas for highlights. Next, I stamped the image onto a scrap piece of Wowza Watercolor paper and used Memento markers and an aqua painter to color. I cut out the bird and then SPONGED Distress Ink (Soot) Around the edges! That is sooooo easy, and it looks like there is more depth to the bird!
Easy....REALLY EASY!
Finished card size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Total time to complete: 14 minutes!

Beautifully done! Looks as if that bird is in a day of beautiful sunshine.
