Congrats to Alison! I had fun looking through her wonderful gallery. I chose her Challenged Poppies to case. I kept the general layout, but turned it on its side, used different images and made mine a Christmas card.
For this fairly simple card, I stamped the Joy mouse image, colored it and cut it out. It's attached to a die cut oval I stamped using the holly giga oval (it fits inside a Spellbinders classic oval as well as an oval giga punch) image. A larger metallic gold scalloped oval and a rich red scallop rectangle complete the layers. For the background, I stamped the holly leaf background across the front of a 5.5 x 4.25 (A2) white card and colored it in pretty quickly using markers. Four metallic gold faux brads were made and attached.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

Beautiful Julie! What a pretty background you made. Just love the big JOY sentiment. Says it all about what Christmas should bring to us. Thank you for sharing this fine crafted card.
