As soon as I saw this cute Greeting Cards set - I knew that I had to have it! The little girl reminds me of an ornament that was given to me as a child , and I still treasure it. Originally, I planned to use non Christmas colours and create a vintage non traditional Christmas card. Well - my love of red and bright colours soon won out - so here is the Christmas card I plan to make for this year.
I'm still undecided about putting diamond dust on the outside scalloped edge . There is diamond dust below the girl , and also on the trim of her jacket , hat , sleeves, etc. I so love the depth of embossing from the new lattice work ef from SU!
Thanks for looking.
No punches used - just two nesties!!

Oh, this is fantastic, Debzi!! I love bright colors, too. I'm glad they won out!! The cherry cobbler card base is fantastic--and so is the diamond dust you used. Makes this look so special!! That great lattice work embossing folder gives your card such a rich look, too. What a treat to see such a gorgeous card from you--well worth the wait ;)

That set is on my wish list - I love how you frosted her (I vote none on the edges if you are still deciding) and I like that ef too (hadn't actually noticed it until you used it). I am also liking that cherry cobbler - I ordered riding hood red but now I think I would like this color too. Very pretty Christmas card with such a perfect vintage look - hope I have made the Christmas card list!

I'm so excited to see you uploading cards, Debzi. In my few months as a Punchkateer, I always see you making comments and cheering others on, but very few cards of your own made it into the gallery. I am SO happy for you that you get to have some of your own comments returned!!
