This started off as a regular A2 card for today's sketch - I was simply going to flip it sideways so I could use this image. I then realized my sentiment was going the wrong direction so I wound up putting it on a square base. It's still pretty close to the sketch so I'm going with it!
Used a PSX stamp for the main image and the sentiment is from a set by Darcies so this works for the Mash 'em Up Free-4-All challenge #26. (I also used a mish-mash of punches from 3 different companies.)
And, I'm almost caught up with my Christmas Card Challenge cards - only about 4 more to make to hit my August total!
I think this little teddy was the first rubber stamp I ever bought - about 10 or 11 years ago. Long before I had ever heard of SCS or SU. A friend had a few of us over for a stamping party - I watched the demo emboss something and I was hooked. Today is one of the warmest days we've had all summer and here I am making a Christmas card!
Image is stamped on watercolour paper in StazOn black (love the way that stamp pad smells). Coloured with an Aquapainter and ink from my SU inkpads. Added a little Dazzling Diamonds sparkle to his hat.
PT: 3 punches (punched 14 times counting the borders on the inside!)

Now isn't he just adorable. It's great to pull out the old stamps sometimes isn't it? I really must get started on some Christmas cards - that way I may actually get some sent out this year.
