I took a look at the challenge before leaving for work it said, “let’s move it!” I have been on a roll since the tilt challenge, so I had many an idea in my head. One was to use a donkey’s butt and have his tail move. Almost did that one until I saw this lady jogging down the street with a ponytail, swishing back and forth. I thought that could be me! Yeah right, I don’t jog. hehe BUT I do wear a ponytail……details…..
In the past, I have made a couple of cards sketching me from the back, which is my better side I might add, sitting at my craft table. Well, today yaÂ’ll get to see what I do at work. I clean swimming pools all the while swishing my ponytail back and forth while skimming the water. hehe Just kidding, I donÂ’t really swish my ponytail around unless the music is really loud, then I dance! Â….again, just kidding.
So I sketched what I thought you might see if you were to sneak up on me from behind. Colored this with copics, prisma pencils, gamsol and w/c pencils. Did the tilt technique using “faux” pennies. Popped the panel up on black cs then put it on a white card with doodled edges.
Looks like I forgot my sunscreen today. Oh wellÂ…Â…Hope you like my sceneÂ…..TFL :0)

You did a really awesome job on this. You are a talented sketch artist. I love your trees there in the background! Those would make a great stamp! Best, Curt

Too cute. Yeah I was thinking along the same lines but with a dog's tail wagging. I was going to draw my dog but he's a chow and they have weird tails. Love where you went with your thoughts, suits the challenge perfectly.

This is sooooooo cool. Yes, I remember this pool. I have been there and probably brushed the sides for your too.....since your put to work while I was there!!! lol. Not!!! I think I brushed two pools and moved a few balls in the pool and the rest of the time I just watched you work!!! Love this scene. It is so realistic and I agree with one of the comments that this tree bush scene would make a perfect stamp. GREAT card. Brought back memories of my visit big time which brought a tear too. Miss you sis, tfs.
hugs,

This is just terrific, Cathy! I LOVE your scene and it reminds me how much I miss drawing. Love the ponytail, it's my preferred hairstyle, too, lol. But you do need to be careful and put on some sunscreen. Fabulous work!
