Love this weeks Teapot Party and please note that I am only 1 day late!!!!!!! I am especially fond of the name of our main character Samantha .. Sam the Ham of Knottinham because my youngest son, Shane Joseph, would have been named Samantha Josephine (Sammy Jo) if he would have been a girl. He is such fun, intelligent young man. Ham would have fit him perfectly too. He always makes people laugh. He does roll his eye around though when I remind him of what his name would have been....
Well Sammy Jo a very girly girl had a choice to make.....stay beautiful and dull or have a chance to a $42,000 signing fee in the sport of her choice. The thought of a shopping spree after signing the contract sparked an interest in several sports. She tried soccer (too much running), football (the pads made her butt look big and it hurt to get tackled, basketball but you sweat too much. So she decided on golf!!! You get to travel, wear cute little outfits with matching shoes, wear your hair in a ponytail with cute ribbons and someone carries your bag and tells you what club to play and you get to take all the credit and the applause. The money is pretty good too!!!
I will be sending Mark a different card than this one. I am not sure that an eleven year old would appreciate a silly card like this one. I will post it after I make it tomorrow. Mark is battling cancer and looks forward to mail. Check out the Teapot Challenge this week for all of the details.
Thank you for looking.

Hi there! So sorry I am so late to greet you but someone mistakenly told Sam about dunking in basketball, but forgot to mention that only the ball need go through the basket, and I been trying to free her hair from the clutches of the basket for the last 24 hours.......she's all settled down now, while we were cuttin' her hair off (yikes!) someone was telling her all about golf and the cute caddies out there.....she's thinking pink against the greens, oh yah, she's got a new focus!!!
What a great story and if I was a professional sports women, I think golf would be it...although someone told me you gotta hit that stinkin little ball......how hard could it be????
This card is absolutely adorable. Is this Sam's little sister, a tomboy from day one, trying to get in the picture? Me thinks so! Love this Con-air......hey, you gotta be good at dunkin', you can probably do it from a snow board too!
Thanks for sending a card.......any card of yours will bring a smile to Mark!
