Victorian teapots, cups, hat pins, hats, hat boxes--wow! These are all the things I love and in colors I love. I want to redecorate the bedroom, but DH probably would not care for all the florals, lace, and other frills that would go along with it. So, I will settle on a card instead.
I used a very old piece of Victorian-looking DP, the name of which I do not recall. I watercolored the flower using SU markers in Certainly Celery and Rose Red. The corner flourish is a CB die, the butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch, the border punch is a Fiskars punch, and the row of beads is from Hobby Lobby.
I did not know how to stick the beads to the card without making a gluey mess, so I used double-stick tape. This was not a great choice because it shows and some sticky parts are waiting to attract some dust. If anyone knows a good way to affix a row of beads, will you please PM me? Thanks.
TFL and have a good Saturday.

I'd try small glue dots too, but you can't see the sticky strip - at least not in the picture. Love the dsp you used with the image. Really works for your inspiration piece. Very pretty!

Lorie this is beautiful!!! Love the rose theme...so perfect for the challenge!!! Your bead ribbon is a wonderful touch!!! Hope live is treating you well these days??? Big hugs ~S~
This is beautiful!! I love the soft colors and the bg paper is beautiful. I have used the small glue dots on the beads but it is tedious and I usually have an easier time getting them stuck to my fingers than on the paper. Your card is beautiful either way!
