Thanks Anne for the lovely vintage web site Roses & Teacups to inspire us today.
I do not usually do (nor am very good at!) shabby chick vintagey stuff - BUT I have a few new vintagey photo stamps from Rubbernecker Stamps that I have been wanting to try out!
I inked the sweet sister image (Vintage sisters #502-07) in Ranger Distress Vintage Photo ink and colored it with coloured pencils and gamsol. The background Nestie Labels 8 panel is stamped with the Victorian Damask Panel #498 in Vintage Photo ink.
I sponged all the edges with Ranger Distress Tea Dye Ink.
Thanks for making me go out of my comfort zone today Anne!!

I LOVE this! Can't believe you think this is out of your comfort zone. You did such a beautiful job coloring the image - looks just like the hand-tinted vintage photos. Great card!

You did amazingly well for working outside of your comfort zone. Before I read what you wrote, I thought you were the master of the shabby chic or Victorian style. I am not just trying to be nice either. Your stamp is awesome and you colored it fantastically. I love the lace you used too. Great job - really~
