Love this Sketch Challenge, originally designed by Kelly H, and brought to us by Rox71. Thank you, ladies!
I watercolored the image and cut the sails out-of-the-box. The metal stars were silver, but I colored them with a Gold Zig Painty pen to match better. I did some faux stitching around the main image with a tracing wheel and ruler.
This goes to a family friend who just graduated with an electrical engineering degree from the University of Utah. Go, Kristian!

What a great card. The image and colouring are in perfect harmony with the DP, sentiment font and the star embellishments. And on top of all that the layout is fantastic. What a great idea... this is on my to do list to try. TVMFS.

Amazing! Two layers for the image is fabulous. Cutting the sails out of the box terrific. Very nicely done! Into my favorites so I can study it more. TFS

I love lighthouses and what an interesting way to do a card, looks fabulous Shellie!! Neat how you did it outside the box and extended the image into the next layer!
