I made this card for today's featured stamper challenge. The card I chose to CASE was Inspiration Mosaic because I loved the look of the mosaic background.
I ddn't have the cool mosaic stamp that Vera used so I just stamped my background and cut it into pieces and mounted it on black cardstock. The skateboarder image is embossed and popped up on dimensionals. The faux brads are made from Green Galore CS and Crystal Effects. The sentiment is from Kind & Caring Thoughts.
I have to confess that when I made this card I was WAY outside of my comfort zone. I was trying to make something trendy that would be good for a teen or a young 20-something guy's birthday. I am not sure if I suceeded, but that was what I was attempting here.

Thanks so much for CASEing one of my cards in this week's Featured Stamper challenge, Trina! Wow, this is awesome! You succeeded in making a VERY cool card! At first I didn't even realize you made this mosaic entirely by hand. Great job stretching outside of your comfort zone!

Definitely something different for you, Trina. Love it, though. I'm going to have to check this challenge out. Vera's gallery is very inspiring!
