Mead is an alcoholic beverage, made from honey and water via fermentation with yeast. Its alcoholic content may range from that of a mild ale to that of a strong wine. It may be still, carbonated, or sparkling; it may be dry, semi-sweet, or sweet. Mead is often referred to as "honey wine."[1]
Now Hollis is on patrol looking for the bad bears, hopped up on mead. And he has Bertie as his back up, ready to wing pine cones at any BUI (Bear Under the Influence) Hollis means business too!
Sadly, he found some bad bears, some line dancing and another playing the fiddle, and they were BUI. Ok Bertie, go to work!
I hope the bears don't catch Hollis first- he is packin' a honey baked ham sandwich in the back of his britches! Ouch!
Hollis is from Art Impressions, and was masked and watercolored. The BUI's are from Rubber Stamp Shack, found here:

Love that bronze BG and Hollis' jeans - just the jeans! I am not surprised you are such an expert on Mead! Not bad for a sick day either - did that have something to do with the mead? De de de de...

Are you sure it is mead and not Bailey's Irish cream? 'cause them bears look like they are doing an Irish Jig to me, with Paddy on the fiddle behind Hollis, this is such a fun card I love it, wonderful greenery around Hollis and I love your Bronze woodland frame.

Pat, I adore your wonderful sense of humor and this CUTE card! Is that copper embossing on the bg? I hope Bertie wasn't too rough on Hollis or the BUIs. She came home with sap all over her and smelling to high heaven of some sort of alcoholic beverage. I haven't the faintest idea how we're going to get it all cleaned up. Sigh...

Just too many details to comment on them all! What a great card - but those line dancin' bears are the greatest!! We'd best be watching for all the BUI's, especially with New Year's Eve coming up.
