OMG! It's been a rough week and I can't believe I am actually doing a challenge. MY temperature keeps going from high to low. I am going to have to blame my husband this time. He got the flu on Tuesday and passed it to me and my older son. And to top it off, I don't have a voice! My younger son Cody is the only one not sick. He got to go to tent camping with our church while the rest of us stayed home. I don't even know how I made this card because I'm so sore everywhere!
Congrats to Nancyruth for being the Featured Stamper. What a wonderful gallery she has and what a great friend too. Here is the card I cased: FS92, Wendy's Tree, NRL by NANCYRUTH at Splitcoaststampers
and Nancyruth had cased from Wendybell shown here:WMW Scandia Christmas by Wendybell at Splitcoaststampers. I dont know if we were allowed to do that but it was the only simple card that I could find. Sorry! I started with by sponging around with dk. green ink on the green c/s. I stamped the tree with versamark ink, used white embossing powder, and heat set. I layered the card with white and red c/s. I used a decorative corner punch to give it a different look. I added red rhinestones throughout the tree. I added ribbon and mounted the card. Thanks for posting the challenge early. Have a wonderful weekend!
What do you think? I actually made this card in 15 minutes.
