This is my submission for today's color challenge using ruby red and baja breeze. I needed to sub blue bayou, hope that is ok!
This is also for Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday Challenge 51 found here: www.mothermark.blogspot.com
Cindy is having sumo wrestling based on this week's teapot, and I haven't even taken a peek to see what activity is happening in there today...
But I decided to bring a bit of refinement to the "party" today with this pretty and feminine kimono. You can visit my blog for the link to the tutorial...
I'd like to thank my wonderful friend, Linda Borneman for her gallery inspiration that lead me to do this card today: CDS SNEAK PEEK! Asian Plants Kimono Bookmark & Holder by Hearth_Cricket at Splitcoaststampers
The center of this card has a removable bookmark!
Thanks for the challenges today, girls! It's been fun!

Sounds like the behavior was better at the tea party when the pigs and chickens were the attendees! This pretty kimono won't look the same when it leaves if all that I hear is true!! Gorgeous!!!

Wow, almost too perdy for the party today! Be careful of the circle, there's a big fat butted guy in there...... Your bookmark is so very pretty. Today's colors go so very well with it. You did a lovely job. TFS :0)

Hey Traci! You're here! Oh my, look at you! So refined and in the perfect colors I might add! I should make a recording of this but I need to warn everyone that comes! Since I have been waiting for you all to arrive on the terrace, this is what I have learned:
WHATEVER you do, DON'T step foot in the big circle right there. See that big circle? Cuz if you do, that big fat quy in the diaper will push you out, almost as soon as you step in and some times its sorta violent! He might be our host today but his has an attitude as big as his belly! Shhh! Here he comes! !
We have had some new developments. Bertie started a sushi fight and Peggy showed up with a new shipment (jeep full) and now we are slip-sliding on slimmy sushi seeing who can land in the circle since the big fat sumo wrestler passed out from too much Saki in the tea!
Follow me, I found a little building back in the corner of the terrace where we can store your beautiful kimono so it doesn't get soiled! Oh wow, look at you! I love that Sumo belt you had on underneath this fancy and refined garment! Snort!
What a fun and creative card! I love that you combined challenges and showed up here with your wonderful card! I will have to check out Linda's tutorials cuz I wanna be refined, some day........Giggle! Thanks for coming girlfriend!!

I think you should be seated at the head of the table wearing this lovely garment. That would be the table on the terrace of course. I am impressed you combined both challenges. I started in that direction but never finished. One about does me in.

Beautiful card Traci! Love the sweet little flowers, are those blossoms...Very lovely embossing. Nice to see some of us have class here. LOL
Well, about Violet, hum, I was looking at that blue backside and thought well, if we lay her down, she could be another seat when the sushi is all gone! LOL
Oooh, now that's downright mean, but that's just in good fun Violet.

What a beautiful and elegant kimono card, Traci! You combined the challenges perfectly! Pretty soft flowers! You'd better hide this from the wild tea partiers! There is a lot of sushi and sake slinging going on!
