My grandmothers each had a punched tin pie safe on their back porches in Oklahoma so the look and feel of punched tin brings back so many memories for me.. I love it. When I saw this set in the SAB catty I knew I HAD to try it with the faux metal technique. I LOVE the result ((if I do say so myself)). We did this card at my stamp camp on Saturday night and the reaction was the same for each group that got to the table and started passing out the card parts. Each time I would here them say, "Where's the metal piece?". It was so fun to see them discover that it was really cardstock and embossing powder!
I did use the SU embossing template that has polka dots on it but it's really hard to pick up in this light.
