I made this the other day, but as I have had my MIL in staying with us this week, I never had a chance to upload it until now!
I was inspired to make this because i got happy mail that day!! I had won a Flourishes set of my choice, and had asked for the Thank You set, and it magically appeared in my mailbox! Insert BIG smile here!!
It also happened to be Thursday, so I played along with the WT challenge which was to use a color combo wheel or website to choose a color combination for the challenge. I loved this idea, and went over to http://kuler.adobe.com/#themes/mostpopular?time=7
and made this color combo. I called it Spring Promise.
Translated into Stampin' Up! colors: Taken with Teal, Bravo Burgandy, Handsome Hunter, Certainly Celery and Not Quite navy. Hope you like it!
It was so much fun coming up with this color combo, i think i spent more time on that than actually making the card. Of course then, I matched up my papers and colors to work with and it all came together.
Needless to say, I looove my new Flourishes set!
Thanks for looking and have a creative night/day!!

I know I commented on this gorgeous winning card before, but I had to come back and tell you that I saw it IRL yesterday and my oh my is it ever well crafted. I believe Deena's love for art flows through her fingers. The watercoloring is nothing but amazing to see. She was explaining how to do and as she was I thought. "Yeah, like I could really do that." I sure hope I can, I think I can.
Congrats on being the Flourishes Featured Stamper! WHOOOHOOO!

Wow Deena! I am so excited for you! Your card is gorgeous! I am also so happy that you were able to be with Giggles! Isn't it wonderful to be IRL with our SCS family?! I am enjoying Shirley's company right now, and there are not enough hours in the day! It made me smile to think of you and Peggy together too. I love this beautifully soft and elegant card- you have done an outstanding job with these gorgeous colors and fine layout! Congrats to you! Huggs!

Deena, I am so sorry I didnt see this when you first uploaded: I'm not online nearly as much anymore, so I apologize if I miss some of your creations. There's something wonderfully stunning about this card. Since I cant quite put my finger on it, I'd have to say it's the whole card for sure. Exquisite is the only word that comes to mind when trying to convey my reaction!

Congrats, Deena! Finally I get to comment on this gorgeous card, I've been trying for 2 days but kept getting linked to a Dell search engine?!!!! Beautifully done, Deena!!!!!
