My good friend lost her mom to Altzheimer's so she is headed to Texas to say goodbye to this sweet Southern Lady. I know my friend loves quilting and all things fabric and feminine. I think this paper looks like a beautiful fabric so I wanted to use it for her.
I had to use a touch of green for balance but I hope it still fits the challenge. You can see my new toys, the top note die cut (am I the last to get it?) and the sweet stems set. All Christmas presents from my BFF demo friend.

This is so very pretty. I love the colors. I too lost my Mom to Altzheimer's and it was very difficult. It would be difficult no matter the cause. This will give your friend a ray of sunshine in a dark time.

Such a beautiful card. Love the colors. And, NO, you are not the last one to get this die. I'm ordering it January 10!!!! Can't wait to get it. All of you ladies have just done beautiful things with it. Thanks for the insipiration...

I'm so sorry about your friend. I have a friend, also, who lost her best friend to cancer in June after several years of fighting the disease. Then in December, my friend lost her mother, also to cancer. My friend is also a quilter. Her birthday is coming up next week, and I'd like to CASE your card to give her. I know she'll be touched when I tell her your story.
