After doing my ink sampler, I decided to do a sentiment sampler, since my sentiments are spreaded in various sets and could be used more often if I knew what I have.
I used old Wal-Mart cardstock (bought back in the days) that I wanted to get rid of. For some reason, the colors actually look better in the picture than they do in person.
The purple cardstock is used to divide the categories (birthday, holidays, thanks, etc.) and handwrote which set the sentiment is from on each card. Thanks to the ring, I will be able to add to my sampler when I buy new sets.

this is a great idea. I may have to do this. I have to admit, however, that when I first saw it (It's almost 3 in the morning) I thought it said "retirement sampler ring" and the first thing I thought of was retirement gift. you stamp sentiment on the pieces of card stock, have all the coworkers sign and personalize a piece of the card stock with the sentiment and then give the ring with the cardstock to the retiree. Hey! I just may have to do that, too.
Fantastic idea, Cindy!!! I've been trying to come up with something similar using a Rolodex, but just haven't taken the time to do it. Your idea is less expensive!! I'm even going to do this with my background stamps - I've got so many of them that I sometimes don't think about ones I haven't used in a while.
