This card is for today's sketch challenge, as well as a double dare challenge I do with a group of friends each week. Anne, jdmommy, challenged us to make a card inspired by anything related to the Olympics this year. Since they are being hosted in China, I chose an Asian theme using this dog image for the Chinese astrology of the Year of the Dog, as well as the rich color of copper and the flourishy design. I made it masculine for a co-worker's birthday who happens to have been born in one of the years for the Year of the Dog.

Well you certainly rose to that Olympic challenge...this deserves a gold medal...only because they don't have copper ones! Hee! The design is absolutely fabulous!

OMG! How creative is that! Good idea Bertie! I love the rich look of this and I can only imagine that it is so awesome in real life...so rich looking! Wonderfully done! I wonder if they have M & M's in China?????
