I had a tough time with today's website. It was difficult to browse, so I went looking through all the fabulous photos that Julie added to the challenge thread. I thought this would be a fun background for a card for my friend's teenage daughter. So I drew it out with my gel pen. My hand got very tired by the end of this. I always make two cards, but wasn't going to doodle this whole background again, so I photocopied it for the second card. This Picket Fence Studios Isabella Girl reminds me of the birthday girl, so I stamped her on the paper and drew and wonky frame around her--then I cut it out with my ScanNCut. It scanned and cut funny. I had intended for the girl and the frame to be one piece, but it cut both out. I'm glad for the malfunction. I like having her popped up in front of the frame. I think making cards for teenagers is so hard, but I'm really happy with how this one came out!

I love that you figured out a work smarter to get two of those, as soon as I read you drew it my fingers ached in sympathy. This is fabulous for this chick.
