Two cards. One is a flourish or medallion stamped with Brusho on white card, and then I used the inlaid twine tutorial with MFT ornament dies, and a sentiment from LOTV, matting the panel with gold glitter card. The second card is SU's Pine Bough ef on kraft, rubbed over with green pencils. The ornament is another MFT die cut from a piece of card with double-sided adhesive on it. I then coiled twine working from the outer edge in. Another LOTV sentiment, and more gold glitter card for matting.
Toni has a link to the Twine Inlay tutorial as well as several other great suggestions in the challenge post.

Love your use of Baker's Twine done both ways. Your Brushos background is fabulous with the inlaid ornaments. Touches of gold glittery elements are so pretty and finishing perfectly!

Wow! These are both just very special. Both backgrounds are great, and very different in feel ~ I like the elegant version and the more rustic feeling one. The inlaid twine looks beautiful and I'm impressed with how perfectly you wrapped the twine into the circle for the pine bough version. Into my faves!

They’re both so cool! I did a Christmas ornament when I tried the twine inlay technique and I wish that I had made a etter “background” for it. But I’m just in awe of that twirled up twine on that one on the left!

Sabrina, these are both such pretty Christmas cards using the twine for ornaments....how fun! Now adding the gold accents brings them up a notch!
I recently purchased the Canvas bg stamp at a yard sale, so yes, it is the first time I use it. I had wanted it a long time ago only didn't want to pay full price, so ended up getting the aida cloth bg stamp for a fraction of the cost on ebay. On another note, is anyone else having problems when clicking onto Cook22 user name? I wanted to send you a pm, but can't click the several choices.
