I had really wanted to make a sunflower card for Polly's challenge last week - but was still unwell most of the week and away at the weekend. So, I finally made this last night as much-needed therapy after a day that started badly and only got worse.
Stamped the sunflower on white card and coloured with pencils. Masked it and sponged in the deep blue sky and foreground. Used stencils on both - Nuvo Mousse Mother of Pearl for the top, green paint on the bottom. Removed the mask. Stamped two extra ladybirds, cut them out and shaped them slightly with a stylus. Put one back where it is on the stamp, and added the other to a die-cut word.

So pretty! Isn't Nuvo Mousse amazing stuff? I love it. This card has a beautiful rich color palette. And that diecut "Dream" is, well, dreamy.

WOW WOW WOW .... this is amazing in all the richness of the many details. Definitely into my Faves.
I think I have that stamp but never did anything nearly as lovely as this with it .... but I am inspired to use it again (instead of just keeping it with my collection of sunflower stamps.)

Oh my goodness Sabrina, this was so worth the wait. Your colouring is beautiful and the entire background is out of this world. I sure hope you have a much better week my friend.
