This is my sample card for Cathy's WTUI Thanksgiving Leftovers challenge - you'll be able to find the details HERE after it's been posted.
Like my bonus card, this started out as something made for a TLC. I embossed it, sponged the edges and added some white detailing with a gel pen. Then I went on a scavenger hunt and added my autumnal posy. The leaf is the last one left from a batch made with wrinkle free distres. The green leaf started out white, I sponged it with distress stain, stamped a script stamp on it and edged it with white pen.
The centre of the flower is part of my experimenting with DOX inks on glossy photo paper - punched, dotted with black and white pens, layered and coated with Glossy Accents. I added some sequins and silver cord to finish it off.
The sentiment is optional - I'm adding the photo without it in the challenge thread. I couldn't decide whether I liked it or not, so it's only stuck on with a respositionable glue dot. I tried ever so hard to add a lovely little butterfly or two to this, but there was nowhere for them to perch that looked right. I'll add the photo after work, I forgot to email it to myself last night. Happy Thanksgiving to all my US friends.

This is pure mixed media magic Sabrina. Thanks for including all the details, I read a bit, scrolled back for another look, read a bit more....repeated several times LOL. I could look at this for the longest time. I could imagine this framed or as a removable cover on a spiral notebook. Love this to bits!

I love all the special touches you incorporate into your cards, Sabrina. Susie is right, they are mixed media magic! The green script leaf is my favorite, it really draws the eye.

Sabrina you have a wonderful stack of leftovers on this card. The leaves are perfect for any flower and the BG is amazing. So many wonderful leftovers to create this real beauty. I can see why you are not sure about a sentiment, I feel that was so many times on cards and usually add them just before sending especially if the card really strikes me for who I am sending. Either way it works and can be removed on this beauty.

Goodness Sabrina, I think I am speechless and that rarely happens. This is so gorgeous. Your background is incredible and then all the elements you added with the leaves, the gorgeous flower and the silver cording look amazing. but then you added in the hint of sparkly blue and that really makes this card sing my friend. This is going right into my favorites! ~Karen.
