Mary chose wonderful colours for a Christmas card - Early Espresso, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler & Garden Green with dessert to include a tree. This is also for this week's CAS Challenge - Lovely As A Tree.
For the bg panel, I used Susie's Squirt & Smoosh technique with foil paper, inkpads and water mister - I used Early Espresso & Cherry Cobbler on glossy c/s. Once dry, I lightly sponged with Cherry Cobbler ink. I coloured the Partridge In a Pear image using inkpads and blender pen and then added silver glitter to the partridge and stickles to the pears and leaves and pot - looks much more sparkly IRL!!

An elegant and beautiful Christmas card, Sue, with your partridge in the topiary tree. Lovely layout to highlight your image panel. And the sequins and ribbon loop add to the elegance.

Love your little ribbon tag and the sequins at the side! Great image for the challenge; nice change from conifers! :-) Your pretty background makes for a lovely card!

Oh!! The partridge in the pear tree! Why didn't I think of that since I have an image similar to this. (Maybe because I have enough Christmas stamps to share among ALL Splitcoast members.) You have done a fantastic job with these colors and the Christmas card. I like the soft sponging and the big of glitz. Merry Christmas.
