Here's a card I made for today's Chocolate Chip Mint CAS Challenge. Forums at Splitcoaststampers I was especially happy to play along because Mint Chocolate Chip happens to my favorite flavor of ice cream. Guess what I'll be having for dessert tonight? LOL...
Do any of you remember SU's Mint Melody? (They got rid of it and introduced Certainly Celery a while ago.) Anyway, I have a couple sheets left, so I pulled out a scrap for this card.
I started with a Chocolate Chip card base and then grabbed the Mint Melody cs. I first ran it through my Big Shot with the Polka Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and then punched out the oval with my Wide Oval Punch. I stamped the sentiment with Chocolate Chip ink onto Very Vanilla cs and attached these two layers with Dimensionals. I wrapped this piece with 1-1/4" Chocolate Chip Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and then grabbed more Dimensionals so this piece is raised from the card base. Make sense?

Oh, oh, oh! My thought exactly when I saw this CAS challenge this morning...use some of that wide chocolate chip striped ribbon! This is lovely. I like that you used the opposite side of that Polka Dots folder...instead of the dots being raised on the panel, they're inverse. Cool.
