I really have mixed feelings about this card. I made it for the Featured Stamper, Susiestampsalot. I cased this neat card of hers. LSC70E My first Challenge! by susiestampalot at Splitcoaststampers
I liked the stitching, the tree with the sentiment overstamped. I just liked the whole thing. Then when I started making my card and changing a few things, My card just doesn't do Susies card any justice. I used some great paper that my DD gave me for my BD. and Glimmer Mist too. Oh, the things I changed were the stamp set, colors, traded her Faux stitches for my sewing machine. I added distressing to the edges. and made my own dp at the bottom with a leaf stamp.

Very pretty. I like the natural color palette and the distressing. Great ribbon treatment too!

Like eating chips...can't stop at just one! I like your card (especially the stitching)....it's a great reminder to me to use some stamps that have been on the shelf for a while!!

This is a really pretty card, Kay. I have that set and rarely even pull it out! It looks wonderful in that oval. I like what you did with the sentiment.
