This is for today's Technique Challenge - Forums at Splitcoaststampers - come out and play, it's a lot of fun! This was a new technique for me...and sooo easy! I don't have a Scor-Pal, so I used my Fiskars trimmer and my scoring blade...piece of cake!
I was challenged by a friend of mine (Heather - hlr976) to try these colors and sketch. I love the sketch but the colors are HELLO!!! I do *however* like how it turned out. It's definitely not a "me" card, but I'm quite satisfied with it. Thanks, Heather, for the double challenge!
I stamped the Baroque Motif large image on Whisper White cardstock and then I scored it. I sponged So Saffon over the image for two reasons...one to tone down the Only Orange and two to make the grids easier to see. I stamped the smaller image in Only Orange and punched it out with my 1 3/8" circle punch and attached it to a Yo-Yo Yellow Scalloped Circle. I added some fun yellow satin ribbon from www.handmstamps.com and added a red button for an extra accent.
What do you think?
Enjoy & TFL!
