Then I got carried away with layers and embellishments! LOL I had a particular thing in mind for this card, and I tend to follow the "more is more" style anyway.
I kept Stephanies awesome little layout, and card size of 4.25" square. I changed the colors, and instead of a knot I put 3 little buttons.
Stamps called Charlie baby by www.cdstamps.com.
I paper pieced the baby horses blanket. I used my sewing machine and some chocolate thread to stitch around the circle punch that the baby horse bundle sits on as well as the card base and over the celery grosgrain ribbon.
I used the SU horizontal slot punch to create little CS doodads to stick on the corners with mini pearls.
There are stickles on the flowers in the darker DP, on the slot punch doodads, around the edge of the card base, in the baby horses eyes and on his bundle blanket, and plain clear lacquer covering his head and tail.
I used brown burlap string through the buttons.
