I was using the Aqua Mist cs for the FS challenge this week and decided to make another card while it was on my table. This is for Kris, the owner of Rubber Buggy Stamps near Lancaster, PA. Sadly she is closing her doors on July 26th and I'm really sorry to see such a fabulous shop go under. This was the last stamp I purchased from her, and since I'm going to pay her a visit tomorrow, I thought it was appropriate to give her a card letting her know how much she'll be missed.
I stamped the image on watercolor paper and then used wc pencils to color it. I embossed the entire image with clear EP to make the colors pop. I'm really loving this self-adhesive paper lace I found at the dollar store recently, so I cut a thin strip of the Aqua Mist cs and layered that over the lace to look like ribbon.
Thanks for dropping by

Oh, i bet you're sad right about now! I know what it feels like to loose a great shop after you've developed a relationship w/the owner. Once she's abled to dry her tears after seeing this, I'm sure she'll take it home tonight and thing long and hard about her future. this is a perfect good bye card to a shop owner. I'm very familiar w/Lancaster but dont remember seeing a craft shop. Is it on Main Street in the village?
