This bag was made for two reasons. 1. For today's Limited Supplies Challenge & 2. I wanted to make a thank you bag for my cousin who is hosting a 4th of July bash for our family. 50 to 80 people will be invading her house today!
I put some PartyLite tealights inside for relaxing tomorrow!
I did the 2-5-7-10 bag, and cut off the top. (I took this idea from a bag in the current SU! catalog). For my paper, I used a piece of dp that I got from eclecticPaperie in their bundle that they had a while ago, Real Red, Night of Navy, and Very Vanilla. For my embellishments, I used two different star punches, star brads, & ribbon for the handles.
I also used versamark and clear embossing powder on the flag/bell image and then stuck it in the freezer for a while and cracked it. To color the image I stamped it in versamark, and then used my forgotten Stampin' Pastels and a Q-tip. I sponged the edges w/ Basic Brown. I also sponged the edges of the bag in Night of Navy. I cut strips and ran them through my crimper and stuffed the bag.
Thanks for looking!
Happy 4th of July!
