I thought this looked cool since I love doing origami type things. I stamped part of the "from the garden" hostess set on the white square with black staz-on and colored it with Prismacolor pencils, and used baby oil and blending stumps to smooth out and move the color around (First time i tried this technique. It smelled really good! LOL). I used my glitter pen to add sparkle to the middle of the flower. I sponged on bliss blue to cover the remaining white and then used chocolate chalk ink to distress the edges. I highlighted just a few areas with the white signo gel pen. I mounted the image on bashful blue and chalk in on the edges of it. I distressed the edges and fold lines on the base with the chocolate ink too Tied on a green ribbon and put it all together. I cut another piece of bashful blue and put it on the back of the card for stamping a saying or to write a greeting. I will probably make an envelope to coordinate, but i think right now it's too pretty to put away. Thanks for the cool tutorial! Good choice to showcase a different type of card style.
