This is my card for today's challenge, chalk pouncing. A good friend once had a cat named Pounce and whenever I hear the word, I think of the cat and that leads me to birds. This card was very hard to photograph due to the subtle colors.
Here's the steps, starting at the back and working forward:
First I streaked white CS with pink and green chalk. I stamped the music BG with versamark ink and pounced with brown chalk. I tore the edges and "chalked" with Colorbox Fluid chalk ink.
For the stamped image, I streaked white CS with brown chalk then added touches of green and pink. I stamped the image with versamark then pounced with brown, pink and green chalks. I tore and "chalked" the edges. I chalked the edges of pink CS and then mounted the image with dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped on the some of the same chalked CS and pounced with brown chalk.
The color bok flower is layered attached to pink CS punches with a pink brad. 'Nuf said.
Thanks for looking.

I always think birds and music go together so well. Love the pink flowers on the collage stamp and the way they tie in with the one at the bottom.
I'd say a lot of us had trouble getting a good picture with the soft colours, LOL, you did a great job.

Love the soft look of the chalks on the collage stamp - the pink shows up very nicely! I also love how you used the music score for the background - its perfect for this card.
