The G is painted with rose-copper metallic paint on the back and sides. I used Fabri-Tack glue to hold the braid and lace on. I covered the adhered part of the lace on the back of the letter with cardstock to give the glue something to grab on to other than just the lace.
These monograms are thin wood/masonite from Hobby Lobby. To adhere the patterned paper, I applied a thin coat of Martha Stewart Glittering Glue to the top of each letter, then placed the letter glue-side down on the back of a sheet of patterned paper. Make sure to let the glue dry for a little while before trimming away the excess paper using a utility knife -- if you do it too soon, the paper will tear into the letter rather than cut away cleanly.
Thanks for looking!!!!!
