This is for TLC174 to watercolor with reinkers. I feel almost guilty about considering this a challenge as watercoloring with reinkers is my first choice-always! Maybe I should pull out my Copics for the challenge since I am so challenged with them. It would be tough though as I left them at home and I am on vacation. hehe!
I love beach scenes and it so fitting for today since I am at Cape Hatteras, NC. It is the most wonderful place to come and relax. It is also a very non commercial beach and there is lots of beach fences and sea oats along the dunes. We always take our umbrellas out on the beach for protection from the sun. I enjoy looking down the shore line and seeing all the bright and fun colors. I decided to play with Bashful Blue and Groovy Guava for my beachy theme with a hint of Banana painted over River Rock on the chair. This is preview of some new images that will be availble at Rubbernecker soon. (www.rubbernecker.com)
This is my first upload to the gallery upload since June 17th and I have been getting kind of shaky with withdrawals. I brought lots of stuff with me to play with and am enjoying myself. My sisters think I'm nuts.
I'll pop back later on and put a link to blog post. Typepad was not acting nicely for me this morning. I have some new to post on there about some fun stuff to come.
Kittie - I need one of these in by beach house!!! Love the composition, colors, everything!
If you see a lifeguard named Scott (he's a neighbor in NJ down there for the summer - tall, blond 20 years old)...Tell him Mrs. Hanna says Hi! Enjoy your time at the beach!

What a beautiful beach scene you've created with your awesome coloring! I love it! I've lived in NC for four years and have never experienced our own beautiful beaches! Gotta make that a priority!
