This is my entry for SC180. It was a fun sketch! It's funny though how sometimes you just don't end up anywhere close to where you thought you were going! I started out cutting the pieces for yesterdays color challenge to use with today's sketch since I didn't get to play yesterday... but when I colored my image I just didn't like the pink in there so I ended up changing ALL the papers. Then I had the whole card ready to assemble.. gluing the very last piece (the image itself to it's mat) and I turned it over to apply the glue and apparently there was some glue on my work pad, and when I lifted it a small piece ripped off. ARGH!! So... nothing to do but stamp another and recolor the whole thing! LOL! Oh well, you win some you lose some!
Anyhoo.... I colored the image with Prisma Pencils, used nesties to cut the square panel and the rectangles, cuttlebugged the olive green layer, finished off with stickles in the centers of most of the flowers. Image and sentiment are stamped with Brilliance Graphite Black.
Thanks so much for looking!
