I went berzerk. (I do that often) I e-mailed her a picture of a dear family friend (see next picture)taken at my DIL's birthday party and asked if she could mimic it for me. Well she did. She mailed this image and a whole handful of others, including my favorite fella.
I slept on it, then decided the only appropriate DP that I could use would be my own photography. So the DP is a photo I took on US 183 between Luling and Gonzales, Texas, last year. You just can't get any prettier than Texas in wildflower season on the side of the road with a cattle tank, old fence, and red wild phlox in the foreground. There is a cow, top left edge, grazing.
Pat, I hope I did your art justice. The coloring, fence, trees, paper pieced dress, everything, is awesome.

Nancy- I am blown away by what you did with this image! It is incredible! You could not have chosen a better bg. Those flowers are wonderful! I love how you tied the twine around your sentiment too! You'll have to let me know what the recipient says! You done a purdy job sistah! Yee- Haw!
