I made this card for Stampinkaren's swap. It is my first time using Copics markers and I love them! I think the card turned out pretty good, but I feel it could use something more. I don't know what, but I ran out of time to get them in the mail so this is the final product. Any suggestions are very welcomed. The biggest thing I don't like is the arms look cut off just because of the way the stamp was made. The designer should have made her some elbows.

Awesome job with the Copics - certainly doesn't look like a first attempt! It looks great just as it is - the only thing I can even think of to suggest is that a little sponging around the edge of the turquoise layer with a slightly deeper turquoise ink might add a little depth and give that deep summer feel to the sky. I do see what you mean about the elbows but I just saw it as she has her arms really well forward (she's eating an ice cream maybe? Or holding up a camera to take a shot out over the ocean)

The background is where I felt I was lacking too but couldn't think of what to do. So that is where the big bright yellow sentiment came in to represent the sun. It was 1 am and I needed to get up for work at 5am.
