Okay, so I have already cased this card of Marilyn's (mlj-mlj): Father's Day by mlj-mlj at Splitcoaststampers. But I loved it so much I had to case it again! This card is for my dad, and I just had to use MFT's "Let's Hear It For the Boys".
I kept the same colors on this card as I used on the first case, it can be seen here: Casing mlj-mlj's Father's Day card by smartblonde_2000 at Splitcoaststampers. The colors are wild wasabi, pumpkin pie, soft sky, and whisper white. The card base is made out of wild wasabi. I scored the card front at 3/4" and adhered the card front to the card back. I kept the same basic layout as Marilyn, I had to adjust the main image panel as the shape is different than that of the image she used. I also rounded the corners of the panels and on the right side of the card.On the 3/4" section, I ran a piece of the pumpkin pie striped grosgrain ribbon and put some antique brass jumbo eyelets through it. I stamped the Sanded bg on the wild wasabi card front and on the whisper white panel. I stamped the sentiment (from MFT's Let's Hear It For the Boys) on the whisper white panel in pumpkin pie ink. The main image is stamped in black stazon on watercolor paper. I colored it in using my Stampin' Up! Markers, and my blender pens with ink pads.
Thanks so much for looking! I hope you all have a great day!

Love it! The colors are so perfect for a masculine card! Your coloring is superb and the ribbon looks so neat under the big eyelets! Better than the original by far!

How many father's you got, girl! That's okay, I'll humor you until mlj-mlj comes out with another one of her winners! This is really a darling card! For some reason, I just love green and orange together! Great card!
