You would write your message on the piece of cardstock on the right side of the picture and then place it in the "pocket." (Then the whole thing would fit in an envelope if you were mailing it.)

Thanks for your compliments! When I made the card I was pretty much just winging it, and unfortunately, I don't have the card anymore to examine. (Argh!) But I'm going to try making another one, and if it works, I'll post the instructions here.
