Measurements: image panel 2 ½” x4 ½” before the border. Side panels with the border 3” x 5/8”.
-The cactus and jack rabbit are stamped first, masked off then the mountains are created using multiple post it notes, cutting and sponging. If you think youÂ’d like to try it send me a message and IÂ’ll try to explain it better.
-The green and brown landscape is created with torn post it notes and sponging then stamping on the grass and boulder image. I drew the stems and added some white flowers with a gel pen. Gray was added to the boulder with Prismacolor pencils.
-The moon is created by a masking. I used a ¼” circle punched from the sticky part of a post it which I applied to the cardstock after I sponged on some Bashful Blue.
-Images are colored with Prismacolor pencils.
-The rabbit jumping into the scene has his little rear resting on three ¼” punched circles that are stacked and are the same thickness as the image panel. Just punch one from each color and glue together.
-A little sponging with a sea sponge brought down the brightness of the pumpkin border around the image panel.
-The brad prongs will not show on the inside because this card front is attached to a white card base.
Inspiration for the mountains came from an actual photo of Superstition Mountains.

Very cool Roxie!! Fabulous masking - and colours- looks great the way you've let the jack rabbit go outside of the frame - love the Sante Fe look to the borders - the colours and design ( and if Sante Fe/aztec or whatever! is the wrong thing.. remember. I'm from Canada - and these southern designs - well - I don't know as much as you do.) Looks gorgeous..
